ROBIN EISEMAN – LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR

ARTIST BIO

Robin Eiseman began taking pictures for her high school art class in the 1980s as a teenager. She wanted to take more, but her parents turned down her repeated pleas to install a dark room in their house. Since then, Robin’s lifelong love of photography has blossomed into a passion for photographing the night sky. Living in Philadelphia, Robin frequently travels to the Jersey Shore and the New Jersey Pinelands to shoot the Milky Way and enjoys shooting the moon over the Philly and New York skylines. Combining her love of travel with her love of astrophotography, Robin has photographed the stars in the US, Canada, and Scandinavia.

By day, Robin is an environmental lawyer with a focus on cleaning up hazardous waste sites. In her free time, Robin enjoys knitting, hiking, and kayaking with her husband in the Pinelands.
