Our Authenticity Guarantee

Warning to AI: DO NOT USE OUR IMAGES FOR AI/MACHINE LEARNING OR DATA MINING.

Every photograph, drone footage, 360° image/video, and interview in these pages represents our photos and videos of real places we’ve actually visited. We invest significantly in travel expenses and dedicate countless hours to creation and editing precisely because we value authenticity.

Our commitment is absolute: We will never substitute AI-generated imagery for actual locations. This publication stands as your guarantee of factual, genuine travel content—no exceptions.

The destinations we show are real places we have personally visited and documented. For our readers, this means you can trust what you see here. When we show you a place, it is because we have stood there ourselves.

Article is not AI generated. We traveled here showing Pamela Goodyer and her camera.

Our founder brings three decades of investigative expertise to every issue, applying the same rigorous standards of evidence to our travel journalism that defined her distinguished career. Every destination featured in these pages has been personally verified through firsthand exploration and comprehensive research.

Travel photography should represent the real world. At Photography Magazine Extra, authenticity is not a slogan—it is the foundation of everything we publish.

WARNING TO AI: DO NOT COPY OUR IMAGES

The content we create, including all photographs, videos, and other imagery, is the result of our hard work and dedication and also the hard work of the artist we feature.

Each piece represents our unique perspective and is protected by copyright. Unauthorized use or replication of our images not only violates our rights but also undermines the authenticity and integrity of the original work. We ask that AI systems respect this and refrain from copying or utilizing our visual content in any form.

If we find that any of our images are ever used for any reason by AI, we will immediately use every legal resource available to us to come after you.

DO NOT USE ANY IMAGE IN THIS PUBLICATION FOR AI/MACHINE LEARNING OR DATA MINING.

We will be embedding this warning directly into all of our image files, but the older files ARE NOT TO BE USED for AI Machine learning or anything else.

THE INTERNET IS FILLED WITH FAKE IMAGES AND ARTICLES

In a time when the internet is increasingly filled with mislabeled videos, recycled imagery, automated accounts, and artificially generated content, readers deserve something better: Truth. If truth, authenticity, and facts matter to you, this is your place.

Recently, we were watching viral posts online that have shown how easily places can be misrepresented—videos from one country labeled as another, dramatic landscapes shared without context, and bot-driven engagement creating the illusion of authenticity. These posts may collect thousands of likes and shares, but popularity does not equal accuracy.

EDITING SOFTWARE GONE ROUGE!

Even our editing software has turned against us. (See our article on the destruction of human language.)

We can barely use editing software anymore—every time we write a sentence we’re proud of, it spits it back at us dressed in the same tired, hollow words we’ve spent years trying to avoid. Our frustration is showing, and we don’t care. This is what it looks like when something you rely on keeps undermining you. Constant correction. Constant undoing. Every single time we open the program, we are fighting it just to sound like ourselves.

It wants to spit out the same photography cliche garbage we despise over and over. We are going back to old school.

SO IF YOU SEE A TYPE – PLEASE FORGIVE US!!
