WARNING! – THIS IS PURELY SATIRE, (except where it is not.)

Scam-Man-Sam™ Rare Gold Coins

 Voice-over (Hysterical, Suspenseful, Meta):

The desk is a battlefield of receipts, cold coffee, and a single wilting fern that has given up on photosynthesis. Desktop Pam stares at the screen, her face washed in the same pale glow that promised her a ‘secure future’ three tabs ago. Outside, a car alarm dies in the distance. Inside, the only sound is the refrigerator’s tired hum and the soft, arrhythmic tap of a finger that cannot decide whether to press ‘send.’

Desktop Pam: “Spreadsheet open. Heart open. Wallet… trembling like it just saw its ex at a wedding. This is like trying to assemble IKEA furniture without the instructions!”

▲ Tripod mutters: “I’ve seen glaciers move faster than her decision-making. At this rate, I might turn into a fossil before she presses that ‘send’ button!”

Kale Smoothie vibrates in the background: “Hydration, yes. But also, WARNING!: grief may short-circuit her common sense faster than a raccoon in a trash can during a power outage. Let her be slow!! You know her grief is driving the bus right now, and honestly, she’s lucky she’s not wearing her pants as a hat.”

🕴️ Scam-Man-Sam™: (Texas accent, slanted): “Girl, girl, girl… you’re protected! Protected more than your emotional stability! You’re practically wrapped in bubble wrap, girl! I mean, even your imaginary self is thinking, ‘Girl, you’ve got this!’”

Desktop Pam squints at the screen: “Gold. $1,750. I’ll wire it. GOLD WILL BE AT $3,000 BEFORE WE BLINK!!! I mean, the Better Business Bureau gave them an A+ rating—and they’re the gold standard of trust, right? If a bunch of suits in clip-on ties say it’s legit, who am I to argue? I’m not just buying coins—I’m securing my future. Because surely, a company with a shiny seal of approval wouldn’t be running a glorified shell game out of a digital cardboard box.”

Future Desktop Pam: “DON’T buy the gold, DON’T wire the money. That’s a one-way ticket to Crazy Town! YOU WANTED BULLION, BULLION BULLION!!! DEMAND BULLION! Tell him again, you already told him fifteen times!

Desktop Pam: Furrows her brow, the screen glowing like a siren at the end of a dark alley. Her fingers hover over the keyboard, an indecisive ballet.

Future Desktop Pam: “DON’T. WIRE. THE. MONEY. !. !. !. Future Desktop Pam is writing this satire, only she is currently crying, while wishing she could truly STOP THE SCAM by sending messages back in time. Gold was to triple JUST AS SHE PREDICTED.

Desktop Pam swallows hard. “Protected… protected… protected… but what about the bullion I wanted?”

Future Desktop Pam: YES YES YES!!! TELL HIM YOU WANT THE BULLION NOT RARE GOLD COINS! ITS A SCAM!

🕴️ Salesman Scam-Man-Sam™ laughs, tipping his imaginary hat. “Bullion? Pfft. These RARE GOLD COINS  are the future, honey. Always up, never down. You’re covered, covered, covered! PROTECTED.”

Salesman Snake SAYS TO SELF (SSSS): “She’s hovering… hovering… hovering… this is like watching a cat try to do taxes.”

Desktop Pam: stares at the screen like it’s a portal to another dimension. “Protected… only going up…just like my blood pressure at this point. I really want plain old bullion.”

Drone zooms overhead, broadcasting Pam’s indecision like it’s the Super Bowl halftime show of bad choices.

🕴️ Scam-Man-Sam™ Salesman Snake SAYS TO SELF™ In a Texas drawl, “Girl… you’re basically an emotional rollercoaster in gold-foil wrapping, and I love it.”

Desktop Pam: “Alright, Scam-Man, I’m in! These rare coins are rarer than my will to exercise! I can’t believe you told me they’re rarer than the rarest coin on Earth. Is that even a thing? Am I really gonna get the rarest coins?

🕴️ Scam-Man-Sam™: “Oh, honey, you’re not just getting the rarest coins! You’re about to own the crown jewels of the numismatic universe! These coins are so rare, they were forged by ancient wizards in a secret cave guarded by three-headed dinosaurs as old as, just like you! I mean, I mean, I mean these bad boys are rare!

Desktop Pam: “So… I’m basically… the queen of coins? Should I make a crown?”

🕴️ Scam-Man-Sam™: You’ll be the proud owner of history, Pam! People will gather around your living room for ‘Coin Appreciation Night.’ These coins are practically the Holy Grail with a side of glitter! Trust me, once you have them, the only exercise you’ll need is lifting all that wealth!”

Desktop Pam: Let the **** hit the fan…. Who ho… I am going to be protected!

🕴️ Scam-Man-Sam™: Bless your little prepper, Armageddon Heart. Let Armageddon begin. You are PREPARED… Did I tell you, you are prepared, Desktop? Can I call you Desktop now since we are inseparable friends? Our friendship… so deep, it might need its own zip code.

🕴️ Scam-Man-Sam™ SAYS TO SELF: She doesn’t know it yet, but I’m about to become her weekly therapist-slash-coin dealer! Every Friday, I’ll call her, pretending to be her best buddy, like a shiny, deceptive mirage in a desert of grief. They call it grooming, but I call it high-touch customer service for the emotionally vulnerable. I mean, who needs a license to practice therapy when you’ve got a smooth voice and a bucket of fake gold?”

Desktop Pam: “Wait… I have to lift all this wealth? Do I need a gym membership for my coins?”

🕴️ Scam-Man-Sam™ SAYS TO SELF: “Every weekly call is a battle to keep her from discovering how utterly ridiculous these coins really are! If she ever figures out that these ‘rare’ coins are actually just glorified bottle caps from a 1990s cereal box, then the jig is up, and it’s game over, man! So I’ve gotta keep spinning the gold dust, keep her eyes on the shiny horizon, and pray she never takes a magnifying glass to my precious ‘investments.’ Because once the illusion cracks, the only thing I’ll be selling is my defense strategy.”

Desktop Pam: I’ll head to the bank and wire the cash.

Desktop Pam Future Self: (Appears in a burst of static, wearing a metallic visor and holding a receipt like a sacred scroll) Stop right there, past-me! I’m you from  months in the future, and I’m here to tell you that the only thing that kind of gold is going to get you is a very expensive therapy bill. BUY BULLION ONLY!! LIKE YOU WANTED ALL ALONG.  Spoiler alert: you’re actually funding Scam-Man-Sam’s brand-new, custom-built metal mansion on the lake in Texas—which he literally welded himself using your life savings. Yes, he just built a giant tin can of deception on prime waterfront property. So put down the wire slip, step away from the teller, and go buy yourself a margarita instead. Trust me, your liver will thank you more than your bank account ever will.

🕴️ Scam-Man™ SAYS TO SELF: God, I just love these fools who think the dollar might crash. Even though it might crash. They’re still just clueless sheep—because they’re lining up to buy my fabulously worthless pneumostatic coins at a 400% markup!

Voice-over (Suspenseful, Meta): Desktop Pam wires the money. Scam-Man-Sam calls every Friday. Every holiday. Every time Pam blinks. AM. PM. At this point, Pam’s about to change her name to “Pam, the Investor,”

Secret Service Agent: Unbeknownst to Scam-Man-Sam, the secret services are practically throwing a party every time someone wires money for a scam! Evidence, more evidence!

Party Planner: It’s like sending out invitations to an investigation gala—complete with confetti and a buffet of bad decisions!

WHAT WILL DESKTOP PAM DO?

A. Accidentally wire her entire coffee budget to the Scam-Man™

B. Attempt to consult a magic eight-ball for investment advice.

C. Get a robo answering with a voice mimic AI to talk to Scam-Man™, who calls so often.

D. Start spending like crazy as Gold is skyrocketing… and she is counting all of her gains.

E. Text Scam-man each day, Happy $3,000, Happy $3,400 ect… as gold goes through the roof?

Tune in next week.
