Photography Magazine Extra has just celebrated its 10th anniversary! When Pamela Goodyer first embarked on her journey into landscape photography, she discovered a profound passion for documenting the world’s natural beauty. However, she faced significant challenges in identifying the best locations for photography, figuring out how to access them, and understanding what to expect upon arrival.
After several years of frustration and trial-and-error, Pamela decided to create this Magazine. This guide was designed to illuminate the path for photographers worldwide, pointing them to the most dynamic and awe-inspiring landscape spots imaginable.
ART SCHOOL
Pamela studied at the School of Visual Arts and the Philadelphia Colleges of the Arts. Life took her on an unexpected journey, diverging from her original career path. However, after a personal tragedy in 2009, she rediscovered her true purpose: documenting the beauty of Mother Gaia and was able to excel in both fields..
Also, with a rich background in investigation and expertise as a fraud specialist, she had honed her skills to uncover hidden truths and deceptive practices. During her free time, she indulged in her passion for exploration, traversing the globe’s diverse landscapes. She traveled extensively for five years before starting this magazine.
Armed with a camera and a keen eye, she meticulously documented the beauty of Mother Gaia, photographing the vivid colors of sunsets, the intricate patterns of leaves, and the majestic serenity of mountain ranges. Her travels inspired her to pen articles, sharing her insights and the wonders she encountered with readers eager to experience the world through her eyes.

Following a personal tragedy in 2009, Pamela Goodyer found solace in the lens of her camera, using photography as a means to heal emotionally. Balancing her passion with a full-time job, she dedicated all her spare moments to exploring and photographing the vibrant essence of the world. Her journey began with exploring the diverse landscapes across the United States, each state offering its unique tapestry of scenes. Her curiosity then led her beyond borders to the rugged beauty of Canada, the tropical allure of Puerto Rico, and the ethereal landscapes of Iceland.

Pamela’s ability to connect with her audience, through her photography and writings has made her a trusted name in the industry.
