Biography: My name is Julio Castro, and I am a professional landscape photographer from La Coruña, Spain. I have always felt a great love for nature, hiking, and especially astronomy, which has fueled my great passion for night photography. 

My foray into the world of photography did not come until 2015, as a result of a trip to the west coast of the United States where I was amazed by the landscapes I visited and seeing that the photos I had taken did not reflect what I had experienced and felt during the trip, I decided to enter the photographic world. 

After taking several courses and learning from some of the greatest masters of landscape photography in Spain, I am currently working worldwide to take photographs that show all the beauty of our planet. 

My photos have been awarded in more than 200 contests. They have been published in magazines and media worldwide, such as Night Photographer Magazine, Photo Magazine, Photographers Look Magazine, Super Foto Digital Magazine, 1x Gallery, Petapixel, Forbes, Xataka foto now Photography Magazine Extra.

In 2017 I joined the team of www.viajesfotograficos.com as a photographic guide and instructor, a job that I currently combine with teaching courses, both face-to-face and online, on photographic processing and technique.
