Zombies Walk the Boardwalk

Asbury Park, New Jersey, was under siege by zombies! The boardwalk crawled with the undead; they were coming for you and your loved ones!

In Asbury Park last weekend, zombies were everywhere, especially on the boardwalk. They may look like regular people, but they’re monsters that want to eat your brains! People stayed in groups to protect themselves from the undead. There’s strength in numbers when it comes to zombies.

We were there, photographed the undead and survived the zombie apocalypse—and had a blast doing so. Take a look at the photos.

The Zombie Event Held Each Year

Asbury Park’s annual Zombie Walk is one of the most popular events in town. Every year, hundreds of people come out to participate in the event, which features a variety of zombie-themed activities.

One of the event’s highlights is the Zombie Walk, where participants dress up as zombies and walk through the streets of Asbury Park. The costume contest awards usually follow the Zombie Walk.

Other popular activities at the event include a makeup contest and a variety of other zombie-themed activities. The event is always a big hit with both locals and visitors alike.

Who are the Zombies?

There are many different types of zombies, but the most common type is the reanimated corpse. These zombies are created when a person dies and is then resurrected through magical means. The second most common type of zombie is the living dead, people infected with a disease that causes them to behave like zombies. Our Favorite to photograph, the third type of zombie, is the undead, creatures that have been killed but have not yet decayed.

Zombies can be found worldwide, but they are most commonly found in areas where there has been a lot of death or where there is a lot of violence. If you find yourself in an area where zombies are present, the best way to protect yourself is to stay calm and be aware of your surroundings. In Asbury Park, the zombies are pretty cool to you, so there is not much need to worry—except for the ones that drink too much at Johnny Mac’s.

The Zombie Walk ended at Johnny Mac’s  House of Spirits.

We were going to ghost hunt and look for the spirits, but the bar was too packed. Spirits usually don’t like noise.
