ROSCOE NEW YORK PHOTOGRAPHY

Roscoe is a hamlet (census-designated place) in Sullivan County, New York, United States. The 2010 census counted 541 people.

Roscoe is in the southwest of the Town of Rockland, adjacent to New York State Route 17.

It is named for New York Senator Roscoe Conkling. Roscoe calls itself “Trout Town, USA.” The town is a destination for fly-fishing enthusiasts because of its location at the intersection of two rivers famous for trout fishing (the Beaver Kill and the Willowemoc Creek).

ROSCOE, NY PHOTOGRAPHY AREAS

You can do Milky Way photography galore in Roscoe, New York, a small town in the deep, dark Milky Way skies. Some excellent daytime photography spots exist in the area and the adjoining cities. This small town is one of our favorites of the Catskills. There is nothing like that small-town feel.

PHOTOGRAPHY LOCATIONS IN TOWN

The town is so small you can easily find all of these areas, then venture to the surrounding cities before coming back for Milky Way photography about an hour after sunset.
