- Go to Photography Magazine Extra and see what they say about the best hotels. 🙂 🙂 🙂 We show you detailed images of the rooms, the pool, the restaurant, and even the hallway if it is cool. We check out the atmosphere, the service, the cleanliness, and the overall experience. It has to be really bad to make our “don’t go here section.” We focus on and highlight our favorite places. We also pick the best hotel for the convenience of the area we are focusing our photography in.
Travel review websites like TripAdvisor, Booking.com, and Yelp play a big part in the travel industry. You do have to realize that reviews can be skewed in many ways. You also have to keep in mind each person has their own unique idea of what a hotel, motel, resort or bed and breakfast should be like.
While these travel review sites do their best to verify users, it is not fail-safe. What about when the guests who threaten a bad review unless the hotel gives them a big discount and they are told no? Yes, there are all kinds out there. What about the friends and family of the hotel owner or should we say friend and fo?
